This cartoon was on the cover of the book "SolarGas" by David Hoye. It echoes the Sharp Solar slogan "Last time I checked nobody owned the sun!"

Survey of Renewable Energy systems along the Khumbu Trail en route from Lukla to Mount Everest PART 5

PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE UNFINISHED POSTS AS I ASSEMBLE MY NOTES AND COMPILE RELEVANT PHOTOGRAPHS FOR THE SURVEY.

#19: Solar Hot Top Shower" graffiti on rock and hot compost toilet pile and rain water catchment.

#20:  2 Solar Hot Water Flat Plate collectors by entrance to Sagarmatha Park on left side of trail. Listed in GPS as waypoint "Parkentrsol" (and listed as Solar install location 15 in Naamche list in Part 4 of blog posts). En route through park JB tells us about the Kirant Religion of the Rai (his people) -- materialists who worship nature. There are 25 ethnic groups.  By 9:30 a.m. it is very sunny.  We pass a massive Chorten that has a sign saying "This Chorten was built and blessed with the unerring support of Rolex, Geneva... all true tigers of the snows."
