This cartoon was on the cover of the book "SolarGas" by David Hoye. It echoes the Sharp Solar slogan "Last time I checked nobody owned the sun!"

Survey of Renewable Energy systems along the Khumbu Trail en route from Lukla to Mount Everest PART 9

PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE UNFINISHED POSTS AS I ASSEMBLE MY NOTES AND COMPILE RELEVANT PHOTOGRAPHS FOR THE SURVEY.

GPS point #29 Forget the "Love Shack"; we call this the "Solar Shack", equipped with at least 4 PV panes, what appear to be 2 ten watt panels, a 20 watt and a horizontal 75 Watt. Let there be light... even if it is cold! (pics 7424 to 7425)

#30  Lunch place, 2 small Monocrystaline PV panels, perhaps 15 Watts each over the kitchen and another small onve over the "International Lunch" facility.

# Military Base: Caroline was forbidden to get good photographs, but did her best surreptitiously. They appear to have 3 55 Watt PV panels. They seemed to be camoflauged with pink rhododendrons...
